Privacy Policy

This site is still under construction. As such, our privacy policy is not fully fleshed out by a legal team, but I've listed the following information below regarding the technologies we use and information we collect. Please note that I take privacy very seriously. I've avoided any Google products, services which use cookies, and all types of invasive tracking while building this site.

Information we collect

This website uses Plausible Analytics to measure unique page views. Plausible is an Elixir-based, privacy-focused alternative to Google analytics. It doesn't use cookies which track you across the internet. It doesn't collect personally identifiable information. You can read more about the information it uses here.

The only personal information we collect is the information which you submit on our contact form. When you submit the form, it will send you a confirmation email that we will get back to you soon. It will also send me an email with the information you submitted (which contains your first name, last name, email and the message you wrote). This information is not stored in a database. If you do not wish to have your information collected, do not use the contact form.

Finally, personal information is collected when you use the meeting scheduler widget. The widget is run by a third party service (cal.com) which is an open source calendar meeting scheduler. It will collect similar information as the contact form, but please see the privacy policy for cal.com for how they store your data.

Technologies we Use

As mentioned, I've avoided any privacy-invading tools while building this site. The following is the list of third-party services currently in use:

We are striving to build a privacy-focused business which meets the needs of the Elixir and Nerves community. If you have concerns or questions regarding the technologies used, information we collect or anything else, please feel free to send us an email
